.The Light of Time project is a medium-scale light installation that critiques and
reimagines our modern perception of time. By using sunlight as the core element, the
installation offers an immersive experience that highlights the constant presence of
chronometry in our lives. The installation features 12 distinct temporal
moments—Dawn, Sunrise, Morning, Noon, Afternoon, Sunset, Dusk, Evening, Night,
Midnight, First Moon, and Last Moon—captured through light projections. These
moments are depicted on an accelerated scale, allowing viewers to witness the subtle
but significant changes in light, shadow, and atmosphere as time progresses.
Accompanied by a bespoke soundscape that adapts to the space’s acoustics, the
installation encourages viewers to sit and contemplate how the passage of time
impacts their sensory perception and surroundings.
